Pin AG started out as a private postal company in Berlin with just five employees and today, with around 1,300 employees, is one of the largest private mail service providers in Europe. It is a direct competitor to all other postal companies such as DHL.
In addition to its main business, mail delivery, PIN AG also offers various office services, such as courier services, catering, and fruit and flower delivery.
About the project:
The Customer Portal+
Together with PIN, I completely rethought the existing customer portal. The goal was to create a simple and intuitive user interface. Furthermore, a new look & feel had to be created, which meets the current requirements and at the same time fits the branding of PIN. The result is a design system that can also be used on the website in the future, a detailed screen design for the entire web app and a clickable prototype.
Another important aspect in the redesign of the customer portal was the responsive design to ensure a consistent user experience on all screen sizes. It was important to PIN to cover all eventualities so that the Customer Portal+ can be used not only on a PC, but also on a tablet and smartphone. Thus, screen designs were created for different viewports and many components were designed specifically for mobile devices.
